Notre Dame School is committed to giving our students a firm academic and spiritual foundation rooted in Catholic values. Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we strive to develop Catholic social teachings in our contemporary, multi-cultural world. We foster the growth of the total child as a unique creation of God.
Our mission is to encourage children to learn and grow in a safe, nurturing environment that promotes literacy, fosters self-esteem and challenges students to succeed.
The goal of our school is to provide each student with a challenging and rigorous curriculum appropriate to his or her academic level. We believe that every child can achieve success. To this end, every child is provided with quality instructional experiences which recognize, support and maintain high expectations for all students.
At Notre Dame School, we take the business of loving and teaching children seriously. Each person at our school approaches his or her task with a keen understanding of the honor it is to touch the future through our children. We are proud of our highly qualified faculty and staff.
Notre Dame Catholic School is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA). WCEA accredits Catholic elementary and secondary schools in nine western states (26 [arch] dioceses) and the US Territory of Guam. WCEA co-accredits and is in partneship with three Regional agencies (WASC, NAAS, NC CASI) and two private agancies (CAIS and HAIS). WCEA began in 1957 in San Francisco and has a long and successful history of assisting school imrpovement through the accreditation process.
